WHAT WE DO

BUSIMOMS empowers low-income single and self-employed mothers with knowledge,skills,financial assets and marketplace to develop and achieve economic self-sufficiency.

Our Services

TRAINING & RECRUITMENT

We provide essential vocational and technology-based training for mothers willing to get employed or start a business on their own. Our training program is short and long courses including coding, Graphic designing, web development, data entry, Microsoft office, catering, hand craft and entrepreneurship.

After training we recruit our clients to job opportunities within our partner businesses. We also provide micro loans and business support for mothers who start or run their own businesses. Our training ranges in 3 weeks to 4 months courses and classes range from 3-5 hours a day.

We have a busimoms mobile app on which our alumni connect, network, get job offers and opportunities which assist in creating balance in their career and child care.

02.
CHILDREN DAY CARE CENTRE

We operate 12 hours a day, child care centre where working or in-training mothers can leave their children to be cared for. The centre provides care and training for children between the ages of 7months-7 years old. The well-equipped and resourced centre provides teaching, food and care for our client’s children.

03.
MICRO LOANS

We provide a very low interest micro loans to alumni’s who need cash between GHc100- GHc5, 000 cedis to either take care of emergency child care situations or to support their own business. This loan enables mothers to build their own small businesses and also provide a means of support for their immediate needs.

BUSIMOMS MOBILE APP & MARKETPLACE

A digital platform that provides a marketplace for working or self-employed mothers to sell their products and services to consumers. It also serves as a platform where companies can recruit mothers looking for specific job opportunities.

05.
ADVOCACY AND CORPORATE CAMPAIGN

We carry out advocacy and corporate campaigns aimed at educating society on the need to provide support for working mothers. This campaign promotes women owned small businesses within community.
